Wellbeing

Your wellbeing is our main concern- at Darsdale  we aim to help each individual to maintain a healthy and positive mind and body.

As part of our commitment to every residents wellbeing, we carefully monitor each resident’s health and ensure visits to outside agencies and clinics are maintained. We believe in providing fresh, nutritious, well balanced and varied meals that all our residents enjoy. We cater for all tastes and diets and welcome menu ideas and suggestions.

Our in-house dedicated Activities Co-ordinator ensures there is always plenty going on and supports all residents who wish to keep up with their chosen hobbies and interests.

We encourage residents to take part in various leisure and social activities designed to keep them mentally stimulated. These include quizzes, handicrafts, bowls, bingo and armchair exercises.

We regularly have visits from musical entertainers, the PAT dogs, a local hairdresser and representatives from various religious denominations.

Residents enjoy regular outings using Darsdale’s own wheelchair accessible mini bus and pub lunches are definitely a firm favourite with all.
