A few words from visitors, family members and residents
Having arrived at Darsdale my Uncle was settled into a comfortable room, was made to feel welcome and very quickly settled helped by the genuine kindness of all of the staff. Since then he has had several health scares but on each occasion they were dealt with compassionately. So much to say, but I cannot praise too highly the care that he has received and his family would recommend Darsdale without hesitation. I visit frequently and am always made welcome. I wish Darsdale continued success in providing a superb level of care to all of it’s residents.
My dad has been twice for respite and he loved it both times. The staff were lovely to my Dad and as we are from Raunds we already know lots of the staff. The food is very good, there is plenty of activities and Dad is very looked after.
The home is excellent, the care given to my late mother by the staff was 1st class. They do their best to make people happy and contented. Would recommend this home to anyone.
My father was in Darsdale for 5 1/2 years, during that time he was given loving care and compassion from all the management, carers and cleaners. All the residents are welcomed into the home and are all made to feel special. The home is kept clean and warm.
I would recommend Darsdale to anyone looking for good quality care for a relative. My Mother is blind and disabled and receives excellent care.
We have used Darsdale to obtain respite care. Always found the staff to be welcoming and the home to be clean with good meals. There is a nice garden which is well laid out with a walk way to aid residents. A range of activities are arranged on weekdays.
