Northamptonshire’s Darsdale Home offers respite and residential care in a comfortable and safe environment. The care home is designed to meet a variety of personal needs. So whether you are looking for respite or residential care, Darsdale is the place to be.

Darsdale is a warm and inviting home. We use methods such as large print notices, contrasting colours, controlled lighting levels and handrails to enable residents to move around safely.

Originally an Edwardian house, Darsdale has trebled in size to offer 30 single bedrooms, all of which have wheelchair accessible en-suite facilities fitted with grab rails.

Our comfortably furnished bedrooms are equipped with a single bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside cabinet and armchair. We encourage residents to personalise their rooms and make it their own with ornaments and pictures. All rooms are fitted with a digital TV aerial and a telephone point for residents to bring their own equipment.

At Darsdale we pride ourselves on the high standards of care and support we provide. The home is fitted with the latest Care-Call system to enable residents to call for assistance 24-hours a day using remote handsets in their rooms.

Darsdale Home has two comfortably decorated communal lounges with various specialist seating to individuals needs. These spacious lounges are equipped with television and audio equipment and are often the main location for group activities.

There is a separate dining room where meals are served direct from the kitchen, however, if residents prefer, meals can also be served in their own room.

A beverage trolley makes regular visits to resident’s rooms offering hot and cold drinks throughout the day. Plus Darsdale’s “weekly shopping trolley”enables residents to buy personal items from the comfort of their chair.
